James T. Kirk: Anybody here heading out to view the solar eclipse Monday. We're driving about 2 1/2 hours west to see it. Unfortunately we'll probably have to drive 7-8 hours back east when it's over. That's how it was with the one in 2017. Apr 5, 2024 9:21:51 GMT -6

James T. Kirk: It was touch and go with the clouds but turned out fine. Much darker in totality than the August 2017 exclipse I wen to. The temperature dropped probably 10 degrees. The route I used to come home worked better than I expected. All in all a great day. Apr 8, 2024 17:34:18 GMT -6
